hey, sweet friends! i do feel bad for being so quiet... really, i miss everyone too! (alright, i'm lurking and keeping an eye on you all, i admit it ;) most of the time i'm doing ok, taking tiny ant steps forward. and then there's a major step back again and i need to redeploy. it's pretty exhausting, but so rewarding when i do see progress, like last week :)

as you can imagine, seeing Bumbles every week is a huge part of my well being. she IS getting big and she is developing so fast! i have a standing date on thursdays when i spend the late afternoon and the evening with her and her parents. we usually go for a walk, come home, play for a while, have dinner and prepare her for bed. the usual everyday stuff that you do, nothing fancy, just being together. i'm so happy i get to see her this often. otherwise i'd miss everything that's happening in her development. she hasn't really learned to crawl properly, but she moves FAST and you really need to keep an eye on her all the time. the newest thing this week was that she can now stand up against things. she grabs the leg of a table or a bookshelf and drags herself up to standing position! it's so amazing to see how fast she's learning, and how strong she is.

oh, and i love how owls have such sharp eyes :) i took those pictures and i didn't even notice that's what she's doing - she's really picking the flowers!

hello lovely... I haven't been around much, but what a treat to check in and see a sweet comment from you! I'm so glad that you're taking care of you and doing what you need to do to keep moving forward, even when there are back steps.

And what a happily gorgeous bee. I've said this before, I typically don't get excited about little kids (I am missing a female gene?) but she's just adorable.

sending xoxo.

She is adorable! I need a baby in my life - any of my friends volunteer? Unless I manage to do the Holy Conception thing :-D
