I live in an apartment building, facing the back yard and another similar building. Almost every sound of what's going on reverberates and is heard if you have a window open or sit on the balcony. For instance, if the guy opposite to me is on the phone, I can hear it.
It's a beautiful serene and quite night and I could hear the blackbird singing at twilight. Maybe people are exhibitionists and like the fact that others can take part of what they're doing, but this, I don't think I've ever experienced. A couple on the top floor in the opposite building just fucked. With their balcony doors wide open.

I woke up one night and heard some soft moaning. I strained my ears to try to determine in which neighboring apartment the presumed sexual act was taking place. I strained my ears so much that I missed that Sam, who was sleeping at the foot of my bed, was snoring in a soft, moan-y way. Now when I wake up in the middle of the night and hear those pseudo-amorous noises, I know it's just Sam dreaming about something presumably pleasant.
oh goodness. I hear my neighbors all the time. Someone recently asked me if it was a turn on and I thought about it for a few minutes before saying no...
Maybe if they were hot, though? Hmmm.

Carl, this moaning and SCREAMING was very distinguishable and typically human. there were also other neighbors who got out on their balconies trying to locate the sounds. there was absolutely no doubt about what was going on!
having a softly snoring cat, dreaming pleasant dreams by your side is something i miss...
Anna, can't say this was a turn on, either, but very fascinating. the sounds become so point-blank when they come from an open window/door, in contrast to hearing things through the walls. even though the weather was hot, and probably why they had the doors open in the first place, the sounds weren't so hot, i think. more like a stereotype porn movie. i keep wondering why it's always the woman who's moaning and screaming this way?

last night i dreamed of naked yoga. there was also snoopy (the cartoon snoopy) doing downdog on top of his red doghouse in avaitor glasses. none of it was sexual. there were puffy clouds in the sky and dolphins were sleeping in the river. i'm not joking. naked yoga will have its day.
wow, that is one weird, yet awesome, dream! i can actually picture snoppy in downdog on his little doghouse :) so, aviator glasses doesn't count for clothes, i guess?
