Sunshine

Well, haven't got much to say except whining a bit about too much shit at work, my boss is loosing it (I used to think he was the best boss I ever had), the weather sucks and I haven't practiced since Sunday...

So after experiencing what could possibly have been one of the worst days in a very, very long time, I spent yesterday evening with a little someone who could bring some sunshine into my life again!

aw, that face takes the dreary out of the weather, and I have to say I am not a baby person! Adorable.

Sending smiles across the miles!

My real name is Anne, and my family and some friends call me Annie - when I was about 6, the play "Annie" came out and everyone would sing to me, "the sun will come out, tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun...."

; )

I am the sun goddess, hear me roar!

Hope all is well and that you have a beautiful day!
xx.

oh, you really ARE the sun goddess, Annie! it's been shining ever since you sent those smiles :)

and you know what? i was humming that song yesterday! it does make you feel there is hope, doesn't it?

hope you have a beautiful day too! (you too Cranky!)

hi Alfia, nice to see you :)

What a darling baby! I followed the link to your blog from Alfia's. I hope some of that sunshine sticks around... here in the South of France it's going to rain for the next few days.

Hope things get better at your work...

hi Joy Suzanne, welcome :) nice to see someone on this side of the puddle! i found your blog as well the other day, following your screen name from a comment. an american in france i believe? from your blog i also found this, which i enjoyed very much! someone you know in person?

it's supposed to rain here too today... but the rest of the week is looking good in the forecast. hope that includes the south of france!

oh, and Owl, she's not a 'real' redhead, like me, but there are definitely traces of red, which her parents (and i!) are very happy about :)

Nope, I don't know him in person, I just like his blog. I keep an eye out for Swedish stuff because I have a personal interest it the culture. My mom's parents are Swedish. ;)

oh, so we might have some things (except yoga) in common then! where do your grandparents come from?

ashtanga en cevennes said...

Haparanda! Although my cousins are spread out around Sweden now. My Grandpa's name was Gustav Taube.

chitta vritti said...

a lot of people from that far north have moved south, i'm not surprised they are spread around. and Taube is cool! that's a famous name in sweden, but you probably knew that, right?

ashtanga en cevennes said...

Yeah, they're third cousins. ;) I feel like a Kennedy each time I meet a Swede here and we start talking about family! ;)

LOL, i can imagine! i have kind of a famous name too, not swedish though, so i know exactly what you mean :)
